I’d like to say I am an explorer.
Although Albany is a small city, there is so much to see and do, and I enjoy trying to find every hidden treasure. I often day trip out of Albany to different towns and cities to see what they have to offer me. At any chance given I love to travel to far away places.
I enjoy hiking in the beauty of nature, trying unique and delicious food, going to museums, abandoned places, and checking out anything off the beaten path.
I would like to share with you my adventures, in hopes that you too will venture out and find new and interesting things to share with others.
Thanks for continuing to add to your blog. I discovered the Vischer Ferry Preserve through your site and love the outdoors & food slant. It’s great!
Glad I could help and thanks so much for your kind words :)!
Hi, I live in Ballston Spa. Relating to Madame Sherri, I co-wrote a complete biography of her, titled Madame Sherri – The Special Edition. I also wrote tihs essay for the New York History Blog: http://newyorkhistoryblog.org/2014/03/19/madame-sherri-and-early-20th-century-nyc-show-business/
That is a really fantastic hat. Interesting and sad history in your essay, much like the abandoned ruins.
